It is my great privilege to welcome you to St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

Across our family of schools, we are united by a clear and ambitious purpose: to ensure the very best possible Catholic education for every child and young person entrusted to our care. We believe that education is about so much more than classroom learning or academic success alone. It is about nurturing the whole person, recognising each child as uniquely created and loved by God and helping every young person to discover their gifts, grow in confidence and fulfil their God-given potential.

Our mission is, ‘Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice’. This mission shapes who we are, how we work and what we seek for every child and young person. We want those educated in our schools to be formed into young men and women who are compassionate, curious and courageous: ready to go out into the world, serve others and make a positive difference.

We recognise the important place our schools hold within their local communities. The schools of St. Raphael are here to serve children and families, their parish communities and the wider community beyond. Rooted in the Gospel and strengthened by partnership, we seek to be places of welcome, belonging and hope, where strong relationships enable everyone to flourish.

As a Catholic family of schools, we also understand our responsibility to help children and young people recognise the positive difference they can make in the lives of others. Through their learning, faith, service and daily choices, we encourage them to respond to the needs of their communities, to stand alongside those who need support and to work for a more just and hopeful world.

We are proud of the distinctive character of each of our schools and of the shared strength that comes from belonging to St. Raphael the Archangel CMAT. By working together, we can offer our children and young people the very best opportunities while remaining faithful to the communities we are called to serve.
